    Hahó!

Ezt találtam az ASUS A6RP proci támogatásáról:

    Asus official CPU (official spec on the product page): Celeron 420 (SL8VZ), Celeron 430 (SL92F), Celeron T1300 (SL8VY, SL9L4) and Celeron T1400 (SL92V, SL9L5).

T2060, T5200 ,T2300E, T2400, T7200 and T7600 are confirmed by the forum members to work fine.

800 MHz CPUs are reported to giving problems and are not properly tested (these should be tested with PC2-6400 800MHz matching RAM modules - i.e. 2 x 1GB).

PC2-5300 DDR2 667MHz RAM modules work in the unit - tested on 2 x 1GB. It is reported 1 x 2GB and 1 x 2GB + 1 x 1GB configurations work fine as long as it's a matching pair (speed, manufacturer) if 2 modules are in use. The 2 x 2GB is reported to give problems by the members of this forum.

When upgrading to 667MHz FSB CPU, it makes sense to upgrade memory modules to 667MHz also.

T7600 according to some test is about 3 times faster than original Celeron 420. Combined with a memory upgrade from original 512MB/533MHz to 2GB/667MHz the performance of your laptop should match or even exceed brand new middle-of-the-line laptops and will easily run Windows 7 Ultimate.

    The fastest confirmed CPU/RAM combination is T7600 and 2 x 1GB PC2-5300 DDR2 RAM (667MHz).
If the configuration is 1 x 2GB + 1 x 1GB dual channel function does not work, therefore only use this when extra 1GB of RAM is necessary as you loose a bit memory performace.

A T7600-asra célszerű startolni, de előtte nézd meg CPU-Z-vel vagy Aidával, hogy milyen chipset van a lapidban.
