Sziasztok! Tudna nekem valaki megoldást erre a hibaüzenetre?
    "Steam Client Bootstrapper működése leállt"

Mikor belépek Steam-be vagy 5mp vagy 1 eprc után jön elő.Újra lett téve a gép de még így is! Rengeteg "gyógymódot" próbáltam már angol oldalak alapján,egyik youtubos videó alatt találtam egy segítséget amit dicsérnek de azt meg nem értem...tud valaki esetleg megoldást?
    Ez volt az a segítség:

Check your steam folder for steam.exe.old. Remove the original steam.exe from the folder. Next remove the .old extension from steam.exe.old and use that exe. This worked for me.

Using the old steam exe didn't work for me but i'm glad it helped someone. This is what I had to do to actually fix the problem. This fixed issues I was having with Origin as well as ie and chrome constantly crashing.

I believe the reason steam is not addressing the issue is because it seems to be due to the users pc and not their software. I'm not sure if it is a windows update breaking things or an installed program, but this is what it took to fix my issues.

A simple way to do this for the non technical is to go to tweaking.com and get the windows repair tool.

    http://www.tweaking.com/content/page/windows_repair_all_in_o..

Run the script "Repair Winsock and DNS Cache" under "Start Repairs" tab. Windows Repair tool has lots of other usefull applications as well.

You can also execute the same fix manually by performing these steps below:

RESETTING WINSOCK AND TCP/IP TO THEIR ORIGINAL STATE:

First, please create a System Restore point:

    Windows XP: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/lear..

    Windows Vista/7:
    http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/help/517d3b8e..

    Windows 8:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/restore-refresh..

Once completed, please try the following steps:

Windows XP: Click Start > Run, type "cmd" then press Enter.

Windows Vista/7: Click Start > All Programs > Accessories, then right-click Command Prompt and select "Run as administrator."

Windows 8: Place your mouse in the bottom left corner of your screen and right-click the Metro option then select Command Prompt (Admin)

In the command prompt, enter the following commands:

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh int ip reset reset.log

When these steps are completed, please reboot and re-test the issue.

If you have trouble after completing these steps you may use your System Restore point to roll back.
