Windows 10 Installation Tip for Realtek OEM Drivers - the ones from Realtek ftp (not the drivers from Microsoft Update Catalog).

When you install by running Setup.exe, the Realtek setup will uninstall the drivers, ask to reboot, and then try to install the drivers. The problem is that after reboot, Windows 10 may install the last drivers automatically and Realtek will again uninstall them and reboot. This loop will continue. If this happens to you, here is the solution.

Solution: In device manager, under Sound, Video and Game Controls, Right Click on Realtek High Definition Audio, Select Update Driver Software and Browse to the WIN64 folder.

Alternate Solution: In device manager, under Sound, Video and Game Controls, Right Click on Realtek High Definition Audio, Select "Uninstall" and BE SURE to select "Delete the driver software for this device". Then click OK. Now, do NOT reboot. Run the Realtek Setup.exe again and the installation will proceed properly. Finally, after the installation is done, reboot.
