Újabb információk, kéretik azért fenntartásokkal kezelni:
Release Date: 2014. There is no concrete date yet.

Platforms: PC and the new upcoming next gen consoles.

New Engine: The Witcher 3 will be using CDP Red's new (updated) Red Engine 3, which is optimized for DX11.

Savegame-Import: There will be a savegame import, which will only affect on side characters like
Triss though. The main plot won't be changed.

States and Epilogue: By the players actions there will be 36 states on the world.
Furthermore there will be 3 different endings which will be each 1 hour long.

Horses and Boats: To explore the huge world the Witcher can now use means of transportation such as horses and boats, which you can also improve over time. For example the horses can be captured by Axii in the wild or the boats can be borrowed on a beach/shore.

An agile Witcher: The Witcher is now more agile by being able to climb and jump for the first time freely.

Free accessible World: The three areas shall be completely accessible, so there won't be invisible walls.

3 Major Locations Over time Geralt will be visiting Novigrad, the Skellige Islands and the devastated from war No Man's Land (isn't determined yet).

Geralt the Huntsman: The world shall be more livelier. On each stretch of land there will be wild animals for hunting beyond the monsters, where you can sell their fur, claws and so on.

At Least 100 hours Playtime: The main missions will be 50 hours long, the same goes for the side missions.

Quick time travel: A quick time travel like in Skyrim will be available, so it will be possible to quick travel on locations you visited before.

A huge world: The entire World shall be 30-40 times big as as The Witcher 2 and ~ 30% bigger than Skyrim.

No loading screens between locations: Entering and leaving an area is now seamless.

Cinematic Dialogues and cutscenes despite the open World: Even though it's unusual in the open world games up to now, in The Witcher 3 there will be the usual excellent voiced dialogues and impressive cutscenes. It isn't clear though if all NPC's will be taking advantage of that.

Lively NPC's and Theft: The NPC's will now have a daily routine like in the game Gothic and also react to stealing of their stuff. The player won't be able to harm defenseless civilians.

Tutorial: As players were complaining about the controls and the combat system, which was hard to learn, there will be a tutorial implemented in the storyline.

The Slow-Mo Combat system: There will be a similar slow motion system to V.A.T.S in Fallout, which will allow to aim at certain body parts. This will make the combats more tactical and visually challenging.

Weather system: As there was already an alternation of day and night, now the weather will also affect the gameplay.
For example, some locations could be accessible only during day or night, some monsters could only appear on certain weather conditions, the same goes for riddles which could also be solved only by certain conditions.

No QTE: There will be no more QTE, but mini games like fist fights or throwing knives aren't affected, so they will be probably the same as The Witcher 2.

lvl up to 60. The character development will be more complex as the predecessor. You can achieve a maximum Level of 60.

Magical Signs: The Signs will be more expandable than The Witcher 2. They can also influence the surroundings. For example, Igni (sort of a fire beam now) can set the surroundings in fire.

EXP: You gain experience only by doing missions. Slaying monsters or wild animals will give you only money.

Monster: The monsters won't be leveling up as the players, but will have set level like in the gothic series. You can only defeat the monsters if you have enough experience.

User Interface: The PC and consoles will have two different UI.

Next-Gen RPG: The Witcher 3 will be a Next-Gen Game, so it won't be restrained by the old consoles.

New Monsters: Only known monster so far: Ice Giant.

New Competition as Mini Games: In the Skellige-Island houses you will be axe throwing or playing card games.

No Fractions: You won't have to decide for a fraction like the Order of the Flaming Rose or the Scoia'tael. A Witcher acts always independently.

Economy: Economy depends on each area. In some places you can buy something for a lesser price, or sell it for higher price.
